Chandra is a dynamic Indonesian Registered Landscape Architect (SKK Ahli Madya), Graduated from IPB University and member of IALI (Indonesian Association of Landscape Architect) from 2016, with 10+ years of experience in the Hospitality industry.

Having worked on a project which across the diverse cultural and regions designing various type and scale of projects in Southeast Asia, China, and the Middle East. Ranging from Private house, villa, hotel and resort. This journey throughout the world has developed a knowledge and respect of cultures, and landscape environments.

He was member of Green Building Expert Council of Denpasar in 2020 (TABGH 2020) and currently as chairman of Ikatan Arsitek Lanskap Indonesia (IALI) BALI Region 2021-2024. He has a wide range of experience in landscape planning, design and implementation As a project manager he gained valuable experience in designing and maximizing opportunities in large scale real estate developments

Chandra’s technical knowledge of biodiversity, environmental sustainability, resilience design, water resource management and land rehabilitation is a great value to developers and course owners alike. Especially, In regard to softscape, His practical experience on tropical nursery at MJ flora Indonesia and subtropical softscape during his Internship at Old Westbury Garden, New york, USA, Those gave him many valueable experiences and make him more sensitive to micro climate of the site by using indigenous plants.

He has had close involvement with many of intaran’s ( PT Intaran Asri) successful Hotel and Resort projects throughout asia. Intaran is his previous company, an international landscape consultant based in Bali.

Sasana Swara Nusantara is the design concept of Legislative area at new National Capital (IKN) as well as the top 3 nominee of the Design Competition, in collaboration with Airmas Asri. The primary aim of the landscape is to conserve and rehabilitate the ‘Heart of Borneo’ through biodiversity enhancement and minimum land intervention, with a tropical rainforest education area as well as a public park. Optimise up to 70% Green open space we divided a couple land use and thematic park to support main building area in order to get natural ventilation, low energy and sustainable.

123 Ha in total of development area By PT Baliragawisata, consist of 3 Hotel (Mandarin, Waldorf, and Astoria as well as 18 hole Executive Golf Course Resort. Chandra was leading the team to identify almost 1000 items of tree that worth to keep and transplanted based on the masterplan. With Shallow clay type of soil and mostly are sitting on top of the rock, its quite hard to transplanted the tree, but his responsibility to give assessment for what best to do in landscape wise.
